Banks will be closed on Thursday. No major banks are closed on Friday.
Financial Markets
Financial Markets are closed on Thursday and close at 1pm on Friday.
Government Offices
Since Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, Federal, State, City and County offices are all closed on Thursday. Some may open Friday, so it’s better to call in advance.
There will be no mail Thanksgiving day and post offices are closed. Fedex and UPS are also closed on Thursday.
Movie Theaters
Chains are open on Thanksgiving and so are most small theaters.
